A: Our studio offers complimentary fresh fruit, towels and bottled water for each class. In addition, we sell juices and other beverages for your convenience.
A: We provide cubbies and a changing area for your convenience. Harlem Cycle is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property, including but not limited to any property left on the premises or in a locker or cubbie. Personal items such as backpacks, bags and purses must be kept in a cubby. The staff is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
A: Unfortunately No, we do not have a shower available at this time.
A: We recommend that you make a reservation if you plan to attend a class. We do welcome walk-in riders, but warn you that classes may fill up. To reserve a spot in advance, participants must sign up no later than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. Reservations can be made online here . For classes before 8:00am, participants must reserve by 12 mid-night.
A: If you are running late please give the studio a call and we will hold bikes for up to 10 minutes after class starts.
A: Participants have until 90 minutes before class begins to cancel their reservation. If a client is not present start of the class, they forfeit their spot and the instructor may the client to the waitlist or walk-in status. Participants who cancel or does not show up within 7 mins will be charged 50% of the total class cost.
A: All classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Medical conditions, which prohibit safe conduct of any class, and can cause a delay in purchased sessions beyond an expiration period will be refunded if a physician’s note is provided.
A: If you fail to show up for a class you’re signed up for, you will forfeit the credit used to reserve the class.
A: Classes and packages are non-transferable. We do offer account credits for rides that are cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Please contact us if you have additional questions regarding this policy.
A: You’re going to SWEAT! Appropriate athletic attire is recommended. Generally, this consists of athletic pants or shorts, and a t-shirt, sweatshirt or tank top. Shorts must be long enough to cover the buttocks and groin area when exercising or moving. Supportive underwear are recommended. Hard-soled, closed-toe athletic shoes or cycling shoes are recommended for all spinning classes.
A: It is recommended that all expecting mothers consult with a medical professional before exercising. Expecting mothers may take a maternity freeze to suspend their membership for up to 12 months. All maternity freeze requests must be delivered in person or via certified mail to Harlem Cycle managing partners. If you are pregnant or have recently given birth, you are welcome to attend any class and workshops at Harlem Cycle as long as you stick to modified or lighter intensities. It is imperative to inform the instructor that you are pregnant or have recently given birth.
